What You Can Expect During Your First Treatment:
Acupuncture and other techniques within Oriental Medicine encourage the body’s natural healing process. The goal of this medicine is to maintain health, keeping the body strong in order to defend against illness or injury.
Licensed Acupuncturists are Primary Health Care Providers in the state of California, with the same rights and responsibilities as your typical western General Practitioner.
The first appointment starts much like an initial visit with your western family doctor but with many Oriental Medicine-related questions that help us arrive at a detailed diagnosis.
Depending on the patient, vital signs and some screening tests may be performed. Your detailed differential diagnosis will be used to create a treatment plan for your whole-body health and your specific symptoms.
