If seasonal allergies are bothering you, we have some suggestions to help relieve symptoms, particularly if your usual allergy meds are leaving you hanging.

Simply press these points using some force with the pads of your index fingers for a minimum of one minute at a time for relief. Use as needed.

  1. Heating pads: A warm, moist heating pad on the face and forehead accompanied by 10-30 minutes of rest can help relieve the inflammation and pain of an allergy attack and ease runny nose and itchy eyes. You can make your own using grains such as bulgher wheat and pearl barley, or check out the ones we have in stock in our offices in Thousand Oaks and Sherman Oaks.
